Harley Davidson oil filter visual seperation .

Summer is here, it's time to ride . Some people take their bike to the local dealership and pay a bunch of money to have their oil changed and some do it themselves at home.  Some people arent doing to well in the economic times and have to rely on the help of friends to get their bikes running. By this I mean the old question of, "Dude, do you have a few quarts of oil and maybe a filter?" I've done it, you've done it and if you haven't you will soon . Some people arent organzied or lose packaging or just plain ol don't really know what they have or where they got it from. Here is a few pics to help you determine what oil filter you are putting on your motorcycle . These pics pertain to Harley Davidson oil filters for Harley Davidson Evo ( pre '99) and Twin Cam motors ('99- '05). Please dont listen to me if you dont have one of these motors because this information may be different . Hope this helps some of you wondering wtf filter you are about to run on your bike.
